Is a mat taught in Creative Mat Designs 2, page 26. The designs on both mats were laid out, then arcs were cut, the circular window openings were cut, then the straight cutter finished the job. We call it "Rectang-O." |
|
Is a slightly simpler variation of "Inlaid Circles" in Creative Mat Designs 3, page 84. The bottom (reddish brown) mat had two circle openings cut, the smaller one first. The exact same settings were used to cut circular opeings in another color (purplish). The ring from the other color and the circle piece of the first (reddish brown) mat were taped into place. Then the two mats were cut on the 4501 Mat Cutting System following the regular "Double Mat" procedure.
